Hugo Boss
Revised (updated in spelling, language, and style) version of the Bulgarian Bible – containing only canonical books – printed as early as 1871 in Istanbul (Constantinople), with the assistance of the British and Foreign Bible Society (British and Foreign Bible Society) and thanks to the efforts of Bulgarian scholars and American missionaries. It underwent several revisions, the last major one being from 2000, with the most recent spelling corrections made in 2025.
The stylistic editing of the text was performed by the renowned Bulgarian poet P. K. Slaveykov. This Bible played a key role in establishing the standard Bulgarian literary language. The latest edition also follows the most recent trends and rules of the standard Bulgarian language.

Esprit
A new translation from the original languages, delivering the biblical message in a manner aligned with the characteristics and development of the literary Bulgarian language. The thematic division into paragraphs and the rich set of explanatory footnotes are just a small part of the advantages of this biblical translation.
On the initiative of the United Bible Societies (United Bible Societies) in 1993, a commission was established in Sofia for a new translation of the Bible from the original texts - from Hebrew for the Old Testament and from Greek for the New Testament. The project was realized by a team of translators, linguistic biblical scholars from the Faculty of Theology of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" and from the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences.
After 20 years of intensive work, the translation was printed at the end of 2013, and officially presented to the public at the beginning of 2014.
