Version révisée (mise à jour en termes d'orthographe, langue et expression) de la Bible bulgare – contenant uniquement les livres canoniques – imprimée pour la première fois en 1871 à Istanbul (Constantinople), avec l'aide de la Société Biblique Britannique et Étrangère (British and Foreign Bible Society) grâce aux efforts des érudits bulgares et des missionnaires américains. Elle a subi plusieurs révisions avec la dernière révision majeure en 2000, et les dernières corrections orthographiques appliquées en 2025.
La révision stylistique du texte a été effectuée par le célèbre poète bulgare P. K. Slaveykov. Cette Bible a joué un rôle clé dans l'établissement de la langue littéraire bulgare. La dernière édition suit également les tendances et les règles les plus récentes de la langue littéraire bulgare.
